Terrific opportunity to join a successful payments and fraud prevention leader with an employee centered culture! The Human Resources Generalist plays an integral part in the HR departments success, and is the initial point of contact for the local employee base. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the incumbent operates as a business partner to the management team and collaborates with other HR team members on developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices for our global business. This position provides daily operational execution for the following areas: Employee Development, Employee Relations, Payroll, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits and Safety.

The HR Generalist role responsibilities include:

  • The primary contact for the local employee base
  • Lead orientation and onboarding activities for US business
  • Identify, communicate and coordinate training and development program opportunities in support of employee development plans
  • Enhance and support the annual performance appraisal process
  • Assist in the Development of employee engagement and recognition programs
  • Clarify, communicate and develop workplace HR policies
  • Interface with management and employees relative to the coaching and discipline process
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system with employee changes (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Generate HRIS reports to support requests for information, audits, benefit programs, etc.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, support compensation structure development and conduct internal/external pay equity reviews as needed; implement compensation program changes as needed
  • Support the implementation of identified benefit program changes (health & welfare, wellness, retirement, EAP, etc.)
  • Coordinate and communicate annual open enrollment process by partnering with benefits broker and vendors ensuring timely execution of the process and effective employee communication on plans and any changes
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and support workplace health and safety initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree with additional formal training on HR related issues required
  • PHR/SPHR or CP/SCP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years prior Human Resources Generalist experience in multiple areas of HR, ideally within multi-site environments. Must have solid knowledge of employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems, with proven ability to execute independently
  • Solid knowledge of state and federal employment related laws and regulations
  • Prior experience with HR integrations as a result of merger and acquisition activity a plus
  • Experience with HRIS systems including report writing and coordinating system enhancements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration and presentation skills are required
  • Experience in high growth organizations preferred
  • Approximately 10% travel may be required
  • Bilingual (Spanish, English) speaker is preferred but not a must
