The Customer Service Representative assists customers with completing their order by verifying them as the authorized signer of their payment device. They work on detecting and preventing loss of revenue on card not present transactions. The Customer Service Representative understands and strives to fulfill Vesta's goals and objectives; while performing the following duties in compliance with company standards.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support on incoming phone calls
  • Verify and process customer orders
  • Troubleshoot and answer questions
  • Responsible for meeting performance standards and maintaining monthly goals set by the Revenue Assurance Department Management
  • Contact banking and lending institutions for credit card or e-check verification
  • Assist with angry/upset customer complaints while providing polite and professional service
  • Thorough knowledge of services and products with the ability to effectively explain service information and product knowledge for all programs
  • Must be available to work 6am-2:30pm shift OR 8am-4:30pm shift

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Must be French Bilingual
  • High school education or equivalent
  • At least one-year experience with face to face or over the phone customer service
  • Requires attention to detail, multitasking, good organizational skills, critical thinking, grammar, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Office 365 focusing on Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment
